Welcome to St. Teresa of Lisieux Parish website. We belong to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Motherwell, and are located in the east part of Motherwell.

Newarthill, a former coal mining village, retains its roots in family and local community. The parish was opened in 1956 by Father John Gillen and has just recently celebrated its Golden Jubilee. The parish church was opened in 1960 and celebrated its Golden Jubilee last year.

Fr Robert Kane, a native of Lanarkshire, is the present Parish Priest.
